The changing insurance landscape is leaving patients more and more responsible for the payment of their services. Some of these responsibilities include copays, deductibles, and/or coinsurance. Every year, your insurance card(s) need to be re-scanned into our system. No matter how little your insurance may change, it will still effect the processing of your claim.
So how can we help you to always ensure the proper processing of your claims?
- Bring all of your insurance cards to your first appointment after the New Year. In addition, always bring your insurance cards anytime you receive a new one or if you ever change carriers. This helps us to ensure we always charge you correctly.
- Bring a credit card you would like to have stored on our secure server. Deductibles are due at the time of service. Starting this year, we will be requiring the storing of a credit card in our secure server to ensure we will receive payment for all that a patient owes. This new policy will save you time and money in the form of postage and late fees.
- Ask questions! If you are ever unsure of an issue regarding your insurance, don’t hesitate to ask. We are here to serve YOU and we will always do whatever we can to clear any confusion you have about your insurance.
